Umbilical Dribble Bars
For Slurry Spreading

Minimal nutrient loss, more accurate application

Umbilical Dribble Bars For Slurry Spreading

Seize the opportunity to apply slurry to pasture with Tramspread Umbilical Dribble Bars!

Why would you want one?  Well there are a lot of benefits to this umbilical slurry pumping system, including the high efficiency work rate, minimal soil compaction, and no damage to field gaps or muddy roads.

As far as application goes, there are some real benefits to both farmers and contractors.  Dribble bars are fast, produce significant grass yeild, and you'll have less demand for artificial fertilisers.  In fact, some farms have been able to reduce fertiliser costs by up to 70-80% using this slurry system!

Great for you, your pocket, and the environment!

As we know, recycling slurry as fertiliser is not only good for the grass, but also good for your pocket - saving money on artificial fertilisers.  But using a dribble bar, or Rainwave™ umbilical drag hose slurry systems there's even more benefit....

By applying the slurry closer to the ground, there is less slurry exposed to the air, therefore reducing the amount of effluent nutrients lost to the atmosphere.  This means:
  • More nutrients getting into the ground
  • Less nitrogen (N) being released into the atmosphere
  • Even less money needing to be spent on artificial fertilisers

It’s [effluent management] not just a cost. If it was just a cost most people wouldn’t want to do it. It’s the payback that makes it interesting.
