Since our beginnings in 1988 we’ve continued to seek out and deliver the best equipment and products for New Zealand farmers, while challenging ourselves to always be better in the way we do things.
ABOUT US
Previously known as Midwest Machinery, we began with the sales and service of general farm machinery, but the growth of demand from customers needing dairy farm effluent equipment was noticeable.
With environmental sustainability becoming more of a focus in society, and councils tightening regulations, there was a need for Midwest Machinery to become more focused, thus becoming Nevada – New Zealand’s Dairy Effluent Equipment Specialists.
NEVADA EQUIPMENT
Always seeking to deliver the best products and equipment for farmers, Nevada began to design and develop our own equipment based on the needs of kiwi dairy farmers. To ensure top quality and reliability, our equipment is designed and built in New Zealand with components fabricated by engineers in New Zealand and Europe.
Today Nevada is ‘trusted for safety & reliability’ not just because our products live up to their reputation, but because of our commitment to providing practical, professional advice and service. Nevada’s slurry tankers, pond stirrers and effluent management systems can be seen right throughout New Zealand, Australia, and have also made their way over to South America and the United States!
EFFLUENT SOLUTIONS
Specialising in effluent management, it’s not just about providing quality effluent equipment. Farmers need the right equipment to get the right outcome. So along the way the Nevada team have skilled themselves on everything there is to know about effluent management, becoming accredited dairy farm effluent designers in 2014, keeping up with council rules and regulations, and working with farmers on a whole heap of different effluent management challenges across the varying farming landscapes of New Zealand.
Nevada are Farm Dairy Effluent System Design Accredited by Irrigation NZ! This means we’ve been assessed (and passed with flying colours) on our competency and skills in all the important things to provide you with top notch advice
OUR STAFF
A seasoned professional, Lloyd has witnessed Nevada’s evolution firsthand. With a background in motor mechanics, he now thrives as Australia’s Sales Manager, bringing expertise and passion to the industry.
With a horticultural background, Michael brings a passion for soil science and sustainable farming to the Nevada team. His expertise supports innovative agricultural practices for a healthier and more sustainable future.
Alex brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, with expertise in the latest farming techniques and sustainable practices. His enthusiasm is infectious; along with his ability to connect with both the land and the people.
Having grown up as a local Coastal Taranaki kid, Sam knows all about dairy farming. With four years in car sales, he loves helping people and looks forward to meeting new folks and exploring options for their dairy effluent management!
A dedicated member of the Nevada family, Quentin has a keen interest in machinery and a lifelong passion for innovation, contributing expertise and commitment to the production and equipment side of Nevada.
