And a tractor around 100-200hp? Then a Nevada Tandem Axle Slurry Tanker is the one for you!
Tandem axle slurry tankers will perform better over rolling country than a single axle. With more wheels there is less ground pressure, so you’re less likely to get stuck in the paddock or mess the grass. Plus with the ability to cart loads of 10,000 litres and more, you’ll be getting the job done a lot job quicker!
Standard on 10,000L and larger tankers, filling up your tandem axle slurry tanker is a breeze with the addition of the Nevada Ezi-load system.
You may be asking “Do I need auto-fill on my slurry tanker?” If you’re keen on saving time and making the job easier, then absolutely. The auto-fill arm takes the hassle out of loading—no more dragging hoses or getting in and out of the cab just to connect up. It lets you stay in control from the seat, filling straight from the pond with minimal effort. On a busy Kiwi farm, that means less downtime and more efficient spreading. So while it’s not a must-have, once you’ve used one, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.
All Nevada Slurry Tankers come standard with heavy-duty Italian Battioni vacuum pumps, built to handle the demands of dairy farming. These PTO-driven pumps are well-suited for thick slurries and offer reliable performance across a wide range of applications.
Tandem axle tankers are fitted with Battioni pumps that have long-life vanes, air injection, and Integrated Crash Protection (ICP) to safeguard internal components. With a reinforced build and enhanced features, these pumps are engineered for an extended 70% duty cycle—ideal for the increased workload and capacity of larger slurry tankers.
Nevada Slurry Tankers are built with a drawbar featuring multi-leaf spring suspension to absorb shock loading, helping protect both the tractor and driver from stress and fatigue. Tandem axle models also include parabolic leaf springs on the axles, chosen for their superior stability and reliability. This setup delivers a smoother ride, allows for faster travel, and helps reduce track damage across the farm.
All Nevada slurry tankers include large hydraulic braking on every wheel to ensure a safe and reliable operation, as well as a manual park brake.
Nevada tankers are built with caster steering and hydraulic lockout, providing easy turning for the majority of farming situations.
Hydraulic and pneumatic suspension is available on request for tandem and triple axle models.
Contractors doing a lot of work moving around tight corners, or having to back up around tight corners opt for forced steering, where steering is hydraulically driven from the tractor.
Nevada slurry tankers & stirrers are high-quality and trusted by New Zealand farmers for safety and reliability. That is why they are supported with a two year warranty, and backed by customer service that is second to none.
