John’s Thorough Investigation into Stirrers Paid Off

John's floating stirrer was no longer getting the job done, the pond was crusting over, the pump was blocking...something had to be done!

What he was less pleased with was his effluent situation. His floating stirrer was no longer getting the job done, the pond was crusting over, the pump was blocking, and with inconsistent pumping, the irrigators couldn’t run consistently. Something had to be done.

John thoroughly investigated his options for a new pond stirrer. He liked the features of Nevada’s electric stirrers and spoke to a few farmers who had them before contacting Nevada.

John visited another local farmer who had a Nevada stirrer so he could see it in action. Along with an electric stirrer, Mike also recommended a PC pump. The old pump was at the end of its life, and the new PC pumps provide the consistent flow needed to keep the irrigators working consistently.

Mike’s advice aligned with John’s research, and he was happy to proceed.

‘The stirrer is certainly effective. Everything is swirling within a few of minutes. And with the new pump everything’s flowing nicely, and the irrigators are back to normal.’
