Stan’s Effluent System Needed The Extra Resource

Understandably Stan had plenty of storage, and plenty of effluent nutrients available, but the irrigator system could only pump so much over a limited area.

‘The nutrients were getting wasted just sitting there until we got a contractor to come and empty the ponds. We needed to upgrade our system to spread over hills and other parts of the farm the irrigator can’t get to.’

So they contacted Nevada about a slurry tanker.

‘We’ve seen the Nevada slurry tankers in action and liked how they are well built and easy to tow so any of the staff can jump in and take a load out when we can.’

A 12,800L tandem axle was an ideal size for their needs, so they ordered one and the rest is history!

‘It’s been a great investment. Just what we needed. Staff love it, and any of them can use it. We’ve cut right back on synthetic ferts, and don’t need to get the contractors in to clean out the ponds.’
