Your effluent pond is a living, breathing thing, full of bacteria and nutrients that will improve soil health and grass growth. A biological effluent treatment will keep it in tip-top condition, reducing crusting, odour and maximising the nutrient value. Regular weekly treatments with a Power-Dose of PondBugs™, will maintain the health of your effluent pond, and you’ll reap the benefits with better grass growth on your paddocks.

PondBugs™ works best when it’s applied consistently, so here’s an easy way to make that happen and save on costs!
Pour the required number of scoops of PondBugsâ„¢ with water through the drain that flows into the effluent pond. For best results wash the PondBugsâ„¢ through into the pond with plenty of water. Use the scoop provided and allow one scoop per 50 cows. After your treated, highly nutritional effluent is pumped onto pasture, more raw effluent will continue to be introduced to the pond. So, to keep your pond healthy you will need to maintain your weekly PondBugsâ„¢ prescription.
